Why MowForge

Manufacturing Choices That Show Up in the Field

Blade failures cost your customers downtime. We control the variables that cause them — material, heat treatment, and geometry.

Manganese Steel, Not Mild Carbon

We run 65Mn manganese steel as standard. After salt-bath quenching and low-temperature tempering it holds a fine, uniform structure with a controlled decarburisation layer — higher wear resistance and impact toughness than standard carbon steel.

Hardness Held at 45–50 HRC

Too soft and the edge rolls; too hard and it chips. We hold 45–50 HRC with batch-level testing, balancing cutting efficiency against impact durability.

Decarburisation ≤ 0.1 mm

Conventional blades often carry a ~0.2 mm decarburised layer that dulls quickly. We control it to ≤ 0.1 mm, so sharpness and wear life run well above industry average.

OEM Number Cross-Reference

Send an OEM part number, a sample, or a drawing. We reverse-engineer the geometry and material, then produce a matched replacement without you re-tooling.

Capacity You Can Plan Around

Roughly 50,000 pieces per day across dedicated lines. Peak-season and off-season windows are quoted transparently so your replenishment cycle stays predictable.

Inspection Before Packing

Hardness sampling, dimensional checks, and visual inspection run per batch. Certificates and inspection records are available with shipment on request.

Compatibility note: replacement blades are produced to match OEM part numbers for major brands (Toro, John Deere, Exmark, Scag, Jacobsen and others). Brand names are used for fitment reference only — we are an independent manufacturer, not an authorised dealer.

Factory & Capacity

A Real Production Floor, Not a Trading Desk

Blanking, heat treatment, grinding, and inspection happen in-house — which is why we can quote tolerances and lead times with confidence.

FAQ

Questions Buyers Ask Before the First Order

Standard MOQ is 300 pieces per model. For mixed-container orders or long-term programmes, MOQ is negotiable — tell us your volume in the enquiry form and we will confirm.

Yes. Most of our export work starts from an OEM part number, a physical sample, or a technical drawing. We reverse-engineer geometry and material, then produce a matched replacement.

65Mn manganese steel is our standard for mower blades because of its wear and impact performance after heat treatment. We also run SK5 and customer-specified grades where the application requires it.

Within 48 hours for standard enquiries that include a drawing, sample, or part number. Complex multi-part programmes may take slightly longer.

None at present, and we would rather state that plainly than list a certificate we cannot produce. What we do supply with every shipment: mill certificates for the steel, batch hardness records held to the 45–50 HRC window, and dimensional inspection reports — see the Quality page for detail.

Yes. Laser marking, labels, and retail or bulk packaging can be produced to your artwork under an OEM/ODM arrangement.
